Terms of Service

Effective date: September 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Welcome Home Maids LLC ("Welcome Home Maids," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply to our website, https://www.welcomehomemaids.com/, our online booking form, and every cleaning you book with us, whether online, by phone, by text message, or by email. By booking a cleaning or checking the box on our booking form, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy at https://www.welcomehomemaids.com/privacy-policy. If you do not agree, please do not book.

1. Our services and service area

We provide residential cleaning in Houston, Texas and nearby areas. For addresses outside the neighborhoods listed on our Areas page, we confirm service by phone. We schedule cleanings seven days a week, subject to availability.

Our main services are Standard, Deep, and Move-In / Move-Out cleaning, booked one time or on a recurring schedule. These Terms apply to every service you book with us.

2. What is included

Checklists. Our Services page (https://www.welcomehomemaids.com/services) describes what each service includes. Extras are included only if you add them when you book or we agree in writing.

Limits.

  • We clean surfaces within reach.
  • Laundry must be done in a washer and dryer in the home. We do not hang clothes.
  • For Move-In / Move-Out cleaning, the home should be empty or nearly empty, we do not move furniture, and you must provide trash bag liners.
  • Anything not listed for your service, or added as an extra, is not included unless we agree in writing.

No health claims. Our cleaning helps a home look and feel clean. It is not medical-grade disinfection, mold or allergen treatment, or a promise of any health result.

3. Quotes and pricing

Your price is based on the details you give us, such as home size, service type, frequency, extras, pets, and condition. Our booking form shows a price for the details you enter, including any minimum charge, same-day charge, or applicable taxes.

If the home's size, condition, or requested work is different from what was booked, we will explain the difference and may adjust the price or the scope. We will ask for your OK before doing extra work at a higher price.

4. Booking and recurring service

  • Book online at https://www.welcomehomemaids.com/booking or call (346) 214-3101. Same-day service is by phone only, when available.
  • We send a confirmation once a cleaning professional is assigned to your booking.
  • Recurring service (weekly, every other week, every 3 weeks, or every 4 weeks) continues on your schedule until you or we end it. You can end recurring service at any time by contacting us. The cancellation terms in Section 10 apply to the next scheduled visit.
  • The cleaning professional assigned to your home may change from visit to visit. We aim for consistency when schedules allow.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to book, and you must have the right to authorize cleaning at the service address. If you book for a home you do not live in, such as a rental or a listing, you are responsible for getting the owner's or occupant's permission.

5. Getting your home ready

Please help us do a good job by:

  • Clearing counters, floors, and surfaces you want cleaned. Cleaners clean around clutter. Picking up and organizing is included only if you book it as an extra.
  • Putting away cash, jewelry, firearms, medications, important papers, and anything valuable or fragile (see Section 8).
  • Telling us about pets, alarm codes, parking, gate access, and anything we should not touch or clean.

6. Pets

We clean homes with dogs and cats. Tell us about pets when you book, and use the booking notes to tell us where your pets will be during the cleaning. Please crate, separate, or secure any pet that may be anxious, aggressive, or likely to run out, and keep pets away from cleaners during service. If a pet makes it unsafe to work in an area, the cleaner may skip that area or stop the cleaning (see Section 9).

7. Access, parking, and lockouts

  • Entry. When you book, tell us how we will get in: someone will be home, you will leave a key, or the cleaner will keep a key between visits. Include gate codes, door codes, lockbox codes, parking details, and alarm instructions.
  • Parking. Tell us where cleaners can park. Parking tips on our booking form are optional, and 100% of a parking tip goes to the cleaning professional.
  • Lockouts. If the cleaner cannot get in, or cannot work because of an access problem, the cleaner will try to reach you. If we still cannot get in, the visit may be treated as a late cancellation under Section 10.

8. Valuables and fragile items

Please put away or secure cash, jewelry, collectibles, heirlooms, firearms, medications, and important papers before your cleaning. Tell us about any fragile, antique, or high-value item, or anything that needs special care. We may choose not to clean or move items we believe are fragile, unstable, or high-value. Section 12 explains how damage claims work.

9. Safety, and our right to refuse or stop work

A cleaner may decline to start, or may stop, a cleaning if conditions are unsafe or very different from what was booked. Examples include pets that cannot be secured; biohazards, pests, or mold; no running water or electricity; exposed weapons or drugs; structural hazards; and threatening, harassing, or inappropriate behavior by anyone at the home. We will contact you about what happened.

Cleaning professionals do not supervise children, vulnerable adults, or pets.

10. Cancellations and rescheduling

  • How. To cancel or reschedule, contact us by phone, text message, or email. You can view your bookings in your online account, but cancellations and schedule changes are handled by our team.
  • 24-hour notice. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. If you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before your appointment, a cancellation fee may apply.
  • Lockouts under Section 7 may be treated as late cancellations.
  • We may waive a fee for emergencies or severe weather.
  • If we need to cancel or reschedule because of weather, illness, or scheduling problems, we will tell you as soon as we can, and there is no fee to you. If you already paid for that cleaning, we will refund what you paid, or apply it to the new date if you prefer.

11. Payment

  • Credit card only. We accept payment by credit card only, through our booking form. Our booking system, Booking Koala, uses a secure payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
  • By booking, you authorize us to charge your card on file for the cleaning price, extras, any price changes you approve, tips you choose, and fees described in these Terms (such as a late cancellation fee). For recurring service, this authorization covers each scheduled cleaning until you end the service.
  • Our booking system may place a temporary authorization hold on your card before your cleaning. A hold is not a charge.
  • If a charge fails, we may ask for another card and may pause service until the balance is paid.
  • Tips are optional.
  • Gift cards. We offer gift cards, which can be used toward our cleaning services. Gift cards and coupons apply as described when they are issued. Contact us with any gift card questions.

12. If you are not happy with your cleaning

If you are not happy with your cleaning, contact us within 24 hours and we will work with you, which may include a refund.

13. Damage, breakage, and claims

Accidents can happen. If you believe something was damaged or broken during a cleaning:

  1. Tell us as soon as possible by phone, text message, or email, and describe what happened.
  2. Keep the item, and do not repair it until we have had a chance to look at it, unless it is a safety issue.

We will review every claim. If we agree the damage was caused by our service, we will, at our option, repair the item, replace it with a similar item, or pay you its actual cash value (its value at the time of damage, allowing for age and wear). We may submit claims to our insurance carrier. Reviewing or paying a claim is not an admission that we are legally at fault.

We are not responsible for normal wear and tear; damage that was already there; items that were not secured, were improperly installed or mounted, or were already fragile or defective; damage caused by following your instructions or by products you provided; or sentimental value beyond an item's actual cash value.

If you believe something is missing, tell us as soon as possible and we will look into it.

14. Insured, bonded, and background-checked

Welcome Home Maids is insured and bonded, and the cleaning professionals we assign to your home are background-checked.

15. Independent cleaning professionals

Welcome Home Maids books and schedules your cleaning, handles payment and customer care, and is your contact for any problem. The cleaning itself is performed by independent cleaning professionals we contract with. They are not our employees. Please contact us, not the cleaner, about scheduling, payment, or any problem.

16. Text messages

If you opt in on our booking form, we will send text messages as described in Section 4 of our Privacy Policy. Service texts and marketing texts are separate and optional, and consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. By opting in, you confirm you are the account holder for the mobile number you give us or have the account holder's permission.

17. Reviews and use of our website

Reviews are always optional. We will not use your name or your review in our advertising without your permission. We may share reviews you post publicly, such as Google reviews, as they appear there.

Use our website and booking form only for lawful purposes. The content on our website, including text, images, and logos, belongs to Welcome Home Maids or the parties that provided it to us. If you have a booking account, keep your login secure and your contact and payment details accurate. We may decline or cancel a booking if we cannot serve the address, cannot verify payment, or believe the booking breaks these Terms. If we cancel a booking you already paid for, we will refund what you paid.

18. Chargebacks

If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first. Most problems can be fixed quickly with a correction or a refund where one is due. If you dispute a charge with your card company without contacting us, we will respond to the dispute with our booking records and messages, and we may pause future service until it is resolved. This does not limit any right you have by law to dispute a charge.

19. Our responsibility and its limits

We will perform our services in a good and workmanlike manner. Other than that and what these Terms say, we make no other promises about our services, to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, such as lost profits or lost time. Our total liability for any claim related to a cleaning is limited to the amount you paid for that cleaning, except that damage and breakage claims are handled as stated in Section 13.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for personal injury we cause, gross negligence, or intentional misconduct, or limits any right you have under Texas law that cannot be waived, including rights under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act. Where any consumer protection law applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms do not limit your rights under that law.

20. Disputes, governing law, and venue

If you have a concern, please contact us first and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims (justice) court if it qualifies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any lawsuit about these Terms or our services will be brought in the state courts located in Harris County, Texas, except where the law gives you the right to bring or defend a claim in another county.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date, and for significant changes we will also email you or post a notice on our website. Changes apply to cleanings booked after the new effective date. For recurring service, changes apply to cleanings scheduled after we notify you.

22. Other terms

  • These Terms, your booking confirmation, and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about our services. If your booking confirmation states a specific price or scope, the confirmation controls for that booking.
  • If any part of these Terms is found invalid, that part will be removed and the rest will still apply.
  • If we do not enforce part of these Terms at one time, we can still enforce it later.
  • We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control, such as severe weather, flooding, hurricanes, power outages, or road closures.
  • We may transfer these Terms to a new owner if the business is sold or merged.
